DC met Santa from Rovaniemi in Slovenia PHOTO

Diplomacy and Commerce Slovenia attended on December 17^th an amazing Christmas VIP diplomatic event organized by The Honorary Consul of Finland in Slovenia H.E. Gregor Benčina.

The guests of honor were H.E. Pertti Anttinen, Ambassador of Finland to Slovenia and his spouse and the event was skilfully coordinated by the Director of Brdo pri Kranju Ms. Maja Krizmancic.

The highlight of the day was Santa Claus’s official visit to Slovenia. The most popular Grandpa in the world flew from Rovaniemi – the Official Hometown of Santa Claus in the early morning hours of that day. The VIP guests, diplomats, and the ambassadors of several embassies based in Slovenia had the exclusive opportunity to meet Santa and talk to him. An exclusive lunch was organized after this memorable and rather emotional meetup with Santa in the magical Brdo Estate.

The hosts welcomed all the guests and exquisite Finish Slovenian fusion meals were served. Some of the best Slovenian wines were matched with the food prepared by a Slovenian and a guest Finish chef.
