Slovenian President Borut Pahor urged the citizens to strictly comply with the instructions and recommendations of the competent authorities and services. He finds this a situation where we are even more dependent on each other, so we need to maintain and strengthen our sense of community.
He emphasized several times that we should help each other and reminded that as of today, all efforts of the state and society are being shifted toward managing the situation, and all the protection and rescue forces are activated. No one knows how long it will take us and the whole world to recover, he said. Even once we overcome the immediate danger of the virus, we will face its consequences, he warned.
According to the President, responsibility for oneself and a sense of community are now crucial.
