A premiere presentation of Dialogue premium tonic took place at Zemono Castle. The tonic is the result of the collaboration of Danijela Martinović, Tomaž Kavčič and Fructal, and represents a logical continuation of the story that was set at the launch of the Monologue gin. Dialogue will hit the store shelves in the second half of November. Last year, the gin Monologue was awarded a double gold medal at the prestigious Great American International Spirits Competition that made it one of the eight best spirits in the world.
Fructal already planned its own tonic in the company’s innovation plan when designing the Monologue gin. Both are in trend in the world as well as in our country, and represent categories that are recording market growth.
Goran Medić, the CEO of Fructal, emphasizes: “We first wanted to develop and prepare an innovative taste of gin, and a tonic development followed. We again found a female ambassador – as we found Tomaž Kavčič for Monologue – Danijela Martinović, who is famous throughout the region. Local premium tonic is not available here, so Danijela is an ideal choice for a Dialogue ambassador since she is a very creative person.”
Dialogue is a premium tonic with the advantage of containing natural quinine and will hit the store shelves in the second half of November. Two flavours have been developed: Classic Dry Bitter tonic and Mediterranean tonic – with lemon, lime and herbs, making a perfect combination with the Monologue gin. Last year, the gin was awarded a double gold medal at the prestigious Great American International Spirits Competition that made it one of the eight best spirits in the world.
Monologue gin author and ambassador Tomaž Kavčič says: “The idea for the tonic came already when creating the gin, as we wanted to develop flavours that go together with Monologue as well as other gins. Thus, Dry Bitter is basically more intended for Monologue – with juniper berries added, of course – while Mediterranean is also intended for other gins; it is especially suitable for mixing (so-called long drinks).”
Tomaž Kavčič invited the famous singer Danijela Martinović to join the tonic designing. She became the ambassador for the Dialogue tonic and she says that the reason was her way of life and their 20-year friendship, which has now grown into a business cooperation for the first time. “I needed a feminine touch to make likable tonics, and that’s how Dialogue was created, which represents friendship and heartiness,” says Tomaž Kavčič while Danijela Martinović adds: “Dialogue is something that connects people in many ways, but above all in friendship and love. A quality dialogue also solves – at first glance – insurmountable problems, so for me the dialogue of friendship and love is the crown of the qualities of an individual.”
