A Slovenian-Jordanian business conference took place on Monday in Ljubljana, as a 10-member Jordanian business delegation is visiting Slovenia this week. Addressing the event, Foreign Ministry State Secretary Dobran Božič expressed the wish for more cooperation, especially between the ports of Koper and Aqaba.
He highlighted Jordan’s good strategic position and friendly relations within its region, as well as its open market economy, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release. The Jordan delegation includes representatives from companies in defence, security, aviation, electric appliances, food industry, smart solutions, energy, building materials, equipment, cosmetic industry and wellness. During their three-day stay in Slovenia, the delegation will visit several companies, among them the household appliances maker Gorenje, plastics maker Plastika Skaza, metal parts producer Podkrižnik, cosmetics maker Kozmetika Afrodita and spa operator Rogaška Slatina.
