Social assistance systems are set up to function smoothly even in times of crisis due to the new coronavirus, minister of labour, family, social affairs and equal opportunities Janez Cigler Kralj stressed today.
The work of employees at the public social welfare centres is organized so that all the rights are guaranteed and exercised in a timely manner, he ensured.
Individuals in need can apply for emergency social assistance, which will – in case of families – include the allowance for the lost free meals for children in schools, the minister added.
