Slovenian president Borut Pahor will host the fourth Three Seas Initiative Summit on 5 and 6 June 2019 in Ljubljana and Brdo pri Kranju.
There have been three presidential-level summit meetings so far: Dubrovnik in August 2016, Warsaw [2] in July 2017 and Bucharest in September 2018.
The Three Seas Initiative is an informal presidential forum involving 12 European Union Member States. The countries of Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia are all located in Central and Eastern Europe, and between the Adriatic, the Baltic and
the Black seas.
The aim of the Initiative is to further regional dialogue and connect countries along the North-South axis by promoting investments in the economy, transport links, energy infrastructure and digital communications.
