With the support and partnership of the Embassy of Serbia, Lions Club Ljubljana Iliria organized a large humanitarian concert in Ljubljana. Over 500 prominent officials from the business, diplomatic and social circles of Slovenia responded to the invitation and contributed to this successful charity event.
The guests had the opportunity to enjoy the concert of the Serbian Army Orchestra “Stanislav Binički” & Magnifico, one of the most popular singers in Slovenia of Serbian descent, who performed music from the famous Serbian movie “Montevideo, God Bless You!” . The special guest of the evening was the author of the movie Dragan Bjelogrlić himself.
The Ambassador of Serbia Zorana Vlatković thanked the Lions Club for this opportunity and emphasized that organizing a humanitarian action is the best way to represent a country. “Actions speak louder than words, therefore good deeds and humanitarian acts actually speak the most about all of us. An outstanding honor to be the partner country of this successful humanitarian event this year was delegated to Serbia”, pointed out the Ambassador of Serbia.
