The international business conference AUSTRIA CONNECT Southeast Europe 4.0 will connect Austrian subsidiaries, investors and partners of Austrian companies from Southeastern Europe this Thursday in Bled. The central theme: digital transformation of companies and related competences.
Peter Hasslacher, director of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Ljubljana, in anticipation of the event, says: “I am pleased that the conference – after successful performances in Belgrade and Zagreb – is organized for the first time in Bled. The economic cooperation between Austria and South East Europe is strongly intertwined. Austrian companies are the leading investors in the region with more than 2,400 subsidiaries, with a total investment of ca. 12 billion euros. Slovenia plays a key role in both the Austrian investments and the trade in goods. The conference will bring us representatives of companies from all countries, which means that Bled – economically speaking – will become the capital of Southeastern Europe for one day. “
