Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov will pay a working visit to Slovenia on Tuesday and Wednesday, 28 and 29 May 2019. He will meet with his host, the Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Miro Cerar, the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia Marjan Šarec.
The visit represents a continuation of the bilateral dialogue between two countries. The two sides will discuss bilateral relations between Slovenia and Russia, economic cooperation and the current situation in the international community.
On the occasion of Lavrov’s visit, a monument to the author of the first Russian-Slovene dictionary Davorin Hostnik will be unveiled in Šmartno pri Litiji.
