For the first time as a part of the international “3daysofdesign” event in the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, Slovenia presents the exhibition entitled “NATURE – Designed in Slovenia”. Several Slovenian designers with brands KUBUS, Kobeiagi Kilims, LesnaVesna, LLEESS, Noordung, OLI, Ooh-noo, PIKKA and VULGARIS woodcut are present at the exhibition space at the Slovene Embassy in Denmark.
At the official opening of the Slovenian exhibition space many-gathered guests were greeted by Ambassador Iztok Grmek, Head of the Sector for Bilateral Economic Cooperation Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In his address, he emphasized the importance of creative industries for the Slovenian export-oriented economy and the penetration of Slovenian designers in the world, with the strong support of both Ministries of the Foreign Affairs and the Economy and also of the SPIRIT Agency. He welcomed the frequent use of wood by Slovenian designers, adding that many Slovenian companies received the prestigious Red Dot Award, among them some exhibitors at this event in Denmark.
