H.E. Turkish Ambassador to Slovenia Esen Altuğ and General Manager of Turkish Airlines Slovenia Mr. Ufuk Unal met with the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor.
During the talk with the President, Mr. Unal presented the Turkish Airlines strategy and the new airport in Istanbul as a great new global transport hub, as well as its effect on the travel market. “We have established and continue to expand the world’s most comprehensive route network. Turkish Airlines is committed to contributing to Slovenian
tourism and international business as well. We are keen to promote Slovenia as a holiday destination in the global market, especially to travelers from the Far East, Turkey, and the Middle East. Over the last ten years, Turkish Airlines nearly tripled its number of destinations and more than tripled the size of the fleet. The company’s target for 2023 is to expand the fleet to more than 500 aircrafts, extend the number of destinations to over 350 and transport more than 120 million passengers“, said GM of Turkish Airlines Slovenia Mr.Unal.
He pointed out that Turkish Airlines listen to people and their needs, and continuously work to improve the service because the satisfaction of their passengers is the most important thing for this leading global airline.
Mr.Unal gifted President Pahor a model of Turkish Airlines aircraft.
