On Friday, October 11, 2024, the 13th edition of The German Ball captivated Ljubljana with an evening of unparalleled elegance, all inspired by the Phantom of the Opera theme. Held in the iconic dance hall of the Grand Hotel Union Eurostars, the gala transformed the space into opera majesty, celebrating a night that beautifully intertwined culture, glamour, and goodwill.
The event was hosted by Dagmar von Bohnstein, President and CEO of the Slovenian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and moderated by Toni Cahunek. Under the honorable patronage of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Slovenia, the evening also featured a warm welcome by Matjaž Lotrič, President of the National Council, whose presence further highlighted the importance of international cooperation and cultural exchange between Slovenia and Germany.
The night offered a dynamic program that catered to every guest. Live music by Pop Deluxe and DJ Aqua filled the ballroom with vibrant energy, while the mesmerizing dance performances by Bolero dazzled the audience with graceful and intricate choreography.
The event raised significant funds for the charity organization Junaki 3. nadstropja, dedicated to supporting children and families affected by cancer.
