By adopting the second coronavirus crisis stimulus package, the Government has completed a set of bills to mitigate the consequences of the Covid-19 epidemic, restart the economy and restore a normal life, finance minister Andrej Šircelj said. The third package drafting starts in May and will be development-oriented, he said.
In the second anti-corona package, the Government adopted solutions for liquidity assistance to the economy and assistance to citizens. As part of the latter, it proposes the increase of the lump sum for municipalities from 589.11 to 623.96 euros.
The Ministry of Finance will start preparing the budget rebalance at the beginning of May, the expenditures will increase and also the revenues due to the non-implementation of some projects. It is likely for some of the priorities to change due to the coronavirus.
